Application Process
*Enquiries are welcome but we are not currently accepting new applications for 2012*
NOTE: if you are applying as a returning resident to Lincoln College please go to the
Readmissions page on the Current Residents page.
1 - Timing
Applications are normally lodged between July and November the year before you wish to arrive but are accepted at other times. This time frame corresponds to the average timing of university application and acceptance schedules around Australia. If you are uncertain about how this affects your situation please contact the College.
2 - Registration
To register for our online application CLICK HERE. You will be redirected to our portal. Once you have registered you will be given an ID number and a PIN which you should keep for further reference as you complete your application form.
3 - Applying
Once you have registered you will be asked to complete the online application form which you can access from the link above. Please make sure that you consult the checklist for all the information we require. Once you have completed your application and paid your application fee we will send you an email confirming we have received your application. This does not mean you have been accepted, but means that you have provided all required documentation and that your application will be reviewed for consideration. You will be able to revisit your application and complete it in stages should you wish.

4 - Interview
If considered for residency your status will read “contact the College for an interview”. You will need to contact the College to arrange an in-person interview. While we prefer in-person interviews we will also conduct interviews via Skype or telephone should distance be a factor. The interview is fairly informal and is a way for the Principal to establish whether you are right for Lincoln College and whether it is right for you. Interviews will take between 30minutes to an hour. You will receive a letter within 2 weeks of your interview notifying you of your interview outcome.
5 - When accepted
If accepted you will be contacted by our office with further details and you’ll be on your way!
