Dear Marilyn,
Just a personal word of thanks for the excellent service you provided in advance of and during our day at your place.
The way the enquiry and the bookings were handled were of the usual high standard that I have come to expect from everyone associated with Lincoln, but I also felt that you gave us an extra level of personal care that made it a better-than-normal experience. All the team were impressed, and we’ll certainly be letting our various contacts know about the services that you guys offer.
Thanks again!

Dear Ms Pannell
I am writing on behalf of the organising committee for the RSCDS 35th Australian Winter School, which was hosted at Lincoln College from the 4th -11th July. We wish to express our appreciation of the College facilities and the support of the staff during our School.
We are a community of dancers and, as such, we dance on our stomachs so to speak. The food at Winter School is always a concern, not the least of which are some people who have special dietary requirements. The food at Lincoln was greatly appreciated during the school and people with special need did not complain once. Truly a remarkable feat. The dining room staff were always helpful and courteous.
The Duty Tutors were also very helpful during the school, enabling forgetful people to access their room after they had managed to lock themselves out. They were always courteous and prompt.
The office staff were helpful and accommodating. As with any event like this there are misunderstanding and miscommunications, but with everyone’s cooperation, these instances were resolved quickly and happily to everyone’s benefit.
In particular, Linda Bastick’s support both before and during the School, was most appreciated. Wherever we had an issue to resolve, I found it very easy to discuss things with Linda and find out what would work and what wouldn’t. She went out of her way to support us and to make the event enjoyable for everyone.
The feedback from our dancers regarding the accommodation and the food was highly appreciative, and while the dancing is important, the enjoyment is certainly marred if these two items are not up to scratch. At Lincoln College, they certainly were up to scratch.
Yours sincerely,
