It is my pleasure to welcome you to Lincoln College. The College Council and I believe that Lincoln is a wonderfully supportive and unique living and learning environment for students from all parts of the world who come to Adelaide to study different degrees! We like our students to feel that Lincoln is their home, and so we are informal, welcoming and community-focussed.
The College Club ensures that residents are welcomed through events and activities, the Residential Tutors help new residents to settle in, and the Senior Staff provide guidance and make sure that the College lives according to its policies and guidelines. And most importantly, each year, the “oldies” embrace our new residents and look forward to the contributions that they will make to our home.
Why do people choose to stay somewhere like Lincoln during their studies? Transition to a new city can be difficult enough without having to grapple with accommodation issues. Here at Lincoln we ensure that new residents are given the opportunity to become orientated to the city and the university, all meals are provided, rooms are cleaned weekly and many other burdens of everyday life are made easier simply by being in college. Lincoln also offers a safe environment and academic assistance. We provide most facilities that students will need.
Lincoln is a community of like-minded individuals who look after and respect each other, who have fun together and where life-long friendships are formed.
Come and join us at Lincoln
From August through until the end of November tours operate at 11am and 2pm Monday-Friday – just let us know you are coming! I look forward to meeting you on a tour, or to interviewing you for a place at Lincoln College.
